About the Site
Quiescent is a small yet growing site that offers icons, icon bases, and a few PNGs.The Beginning
I started graphic designing not too long ago. I worked with friends on sites, but sooner or later, we would get lazy and stop updating completely. Like all people, they had their starting point in life, mine was Neopets. I had to learn on my own, teaching myself the basics of coding and then from there, trying to produce a decent layout. Even today, I am still progressing each and every step of the way. Then and Now
Pandaemonium was my first major site I have ever, actually maintained. It was created on December 2, 2007 and was updated frequently. I have met many friends along the way and my skills have been improving bit by bit ever since. I moved Pandaemonium to a new host also changing the name to, Quiescent. Pandaemonium was then, Quiescent is now. What's in A Name?
The Name: Quiescent [Qui-es-ent]The Definition: adj. being at rest; quiet; still; inactive or motionless
The Decision: I wanted a name that would chain together with my previous site's name, Pandaemonium. I went through many tough choices, looking through dictionaries and thesauruses. I accidently stumbled onto the word: 'Quiescent', which means a state of peace and rest, and I knew it was perfect. So, that name stuck! I found it fitting since pandemonium meant utter chaos and havoc and quiescent was the exact opposite, like the calm right after a storm.

I've been graphic designing since August, 2007 and I've been coding for about 3 years now. Asides from the computer, I have a passion for swimming and skating. I am insanely in love with my Play Station 3 after my last one died a year or so ago. I'm currently playing BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. If you asked me if I prefer anime or manga, I'd go with manga. I tend to take my grades very seriously so I can persue a great life in college or university. My future is open to any options that I am presented with so it is yet still undecided.
